Рене Захра, Лерой Альберт Делаем запрос авторам с предложением выслать нам фото. Чуток добавляем из нашего форума и форума О. Пикалева. – нужно только перевести Re: Intergeneric hybrids
I find intergeneric hybrids very interesting. I made several myself. I managed to make one between Leuchtenbergia and Ferocactus pilosus, between Cleistocactus neofossulatus and Matucana haynei, and between Seticereus icosagonus and Matucana haynei, also between Morawetzia sericata and Matucana madisoniorum. It seems that these plants are all very closely realated and it is very easy to make hybrids between them. Yours, Rene Zahra, MALTA Re: Intergeneric hybrids
Intergeneric hybrides are often found in nature. I have the experience on the Canary Islands, where I do botanical field research, that a hybridisation between representatifs of the genus Greenovia and Aeonium are often found. Both are Crassulacea members and so intergeneric yes, as from the moment it stays in the same Family. I have in collection different cloones from Greenovia aurea X Aeonium spathulatum (both directions!!!) and from the Greenovia dodrentalis X Aeonium spathulatum (only in this direction) Let me pls know how I have to enter photos!! Greetings, Albert P.S. those who would like to join me on the field, I can organise a quit cheap stay of 15 days on Tenerife in private appartments with self catering!!) Posted by: Irina Ten
